  • APP covered the recent Board of Education meeting, its approval of an extension to Superintendent O'Malley's contract, and its approval of staff cuts, outsourcing, and tax increases.
  • Freehold is looking at Matawan Aberdeen Regional School District for its top rated busing program, per The Examiner.
  • Matawan Boro plans to sell off its old Board of Health building at 145 Broad Street, per The Independent.
  • A blogger discovered a book in her garage that her late mother wanted given to a particular church in Matawan.
  • The Matawan-Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce has a beta website in the works. I stumbled on their page on the annual business expo. Looking good, but still a work in progress.
